Adecco USA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing essential patient care and support in a clinical setting. Please find the details below.

Contract Type: Four-month contract with potential for extension or transition to full-time employment.

Work Schedule: 730AM – 530PM for three shifts per week, with one shift from 730AM – 7PM.

Compensation: $45 - $47 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and document patient care, including administering injections and conducting preventive screenings.
  • Triage patients in accordance with established protocols and scheduling guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the care team, preparing patients by collecting and recording clinical information as per established procedures.
  • Educate patients about their health conditions and provide guidance on self-management.
  • Execute standing orders, such as authorizing prescription refills and ordering necessary tests, in line with practice policies.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or services, communicate test results, and follow up post-appointment to ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Manage patient phone inquiries, taking comprehensive messages and routing them to appropriate providers using the EHR.
  • Monitor task lists to ensure timely responses and follow-ups on overdue orders and critical referrals.
  • In collaboration with Regional Nurse Managers, complete annual CLIA competencies.
  • Support the Clinical Lead and serve as a resource for other clinical staff members.
  • Mentor new clinical team members.
  • Maintain effective communication with the care team and Regional Management.
  • Stay informed about current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations as well as company policies.
  • Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably with pediatric and adolescent populations.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with EPIC software is preferred.
