Position Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their families, ensuring that care is tailored to meet their unique age-specific, developmental, gender, cultural, religious, psychosocial, and socioeconomic needs. This role emphasizes the provision of evidence-based, holistic care that honors the dignity and worth of each individual.
Functions as a professional nurse within the legal and ethical guidelines set forth by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and adheres to the standards established by the American Nurses Association for Nursing Practice and the Code for Nurses.
Essential Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute care nursing
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing School
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Connecticut
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary for assessing patient health needs and delivering safe, compassionate nursing care.
