Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing materials, components, and work in process to ensure compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test materials, components, and work in process to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Assure compliance with ordinance specifications, standard inspection procedures, and drawings.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality reports and non-conformance issues.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and quality testing equipment to assess fabric properties.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding quality requirements and standards.
  • Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with inventory count and control by performing various work tasks.
Requirements
  • Reading and math skills at a level normally acquired through high school education.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
  • Knowledge of using measuring tools and quality testing equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year Experience.
  • May be required to attend internal QA certification classes and pass test.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to successfully background check and drug screen.
