**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at IU Health Methodist Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide respiratory care to patients, including administering oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosol therapy
* Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results
* Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

**Requirements:**

* 18 months minimum experience as a Respiratory Therapist
* Certification in ACLS, BCLS, and RRT
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Schedule:**

* 3x12 hour shifts per week
* Must be willing to work every other weekend
* Will work holidays that fall within contract time

**Certification and Training:**

* PALS certification required for those regularly floating to Morgan and Saxony hospitals
* Will be completed onsite

**Floating Requirements:**

* Will float to University, Morgan, and Saxony hospitals

**Specialty:**

* Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

**Skillset Requirements:**

* Conscious sedation
* IV start
* Telemetry
* Vents
