About the Job

ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with respiratory disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Indiana.
  • Experience working in an inpatient setting, preferably with a focus on respiratory care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
