Job Title: Accountant for Niche Markets

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our Executive Management team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting work, including compiling, preparing, and maintaining data and records, ensuring that all financial data is recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and consistent with established policy and procedures for ValorVIP programs and business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
  • Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions.
  • Enter AP bills and credit card transactions if needed.
  • Perform month-end closing and reconciliation.
  • Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information.
  • Perform bank reconciliation.
  • Support department peers as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experience, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, organize, and manage projects.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize, and work independently.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:
