Job Summary

Avports LLC is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stewart International Airport. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks associated with the repair and maintenance of airport equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on airport equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect tools and equipment on a regular basis to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist other work centers as needed to ensure timely completion of work projects.
  • Participate in snow removal and ice control efforts as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of materials and parts used and remaining in stock.
  • Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a 4-year High School or Vocational School.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and vehicle maintenance background.
  • 3 years of experience in progressively responsible related skills.
  • New York State Motor Vehicle Class B drivers' license.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities. You will be required to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather and may be required to work rotating shifts and/or overtime.
