Job Summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a PRN MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, ensuring the highest quality images for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with patients to gather medical history and provide clear instructions and explanations of the procedure and/or exam.
  • Review patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent, and screen patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
  • Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for review.
  • Transfer images to other locations as needed, and coordinate scan protocols with Radiologists.
  • Maintain and regularly inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns, equipment failures, or deficiencies to the Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager.
Requirements
  • Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred.
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed, detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately, and excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program, current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), and current CPR certification.
