We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing quality procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment, including performing proper care and cleaning, and reporting equipment malfunctions to supervisor and/or service engineers.
- Be proficient with computer systems in the MRI Department, including Radiology Information System (Radiant) and PACS, and Hospital Information System (EPIC).
- Perform quality procedures in compliance with department's technical procedure manual, and select appropriate protocol and exposure factors according to body area, body habitus, and patient condition.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT).
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
- 1 year experience as RT, RDMS or CNMT preferred.
- Licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license is acceptable).
- BLS from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
