Job Title: Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the Turbine Island Design Plan for 50 Hz AP1000 design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of the Turbine Island Design Plan for 50 Hz AP1000 design.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and distribution of engineering budgets and schedules for respective parts of new project execution.
  • Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for resolution of both technical and schedule-related challenges.
  • Interface with potential customers, partners, and regulators in support of Westinghouse stakeholder engagement and project plans.
  • Support various aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various countries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering or projects engineering support.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills such as effective verbal and written communications, ability to direct complex team structures, able to develop relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally, able to analyze problems, establish facts, and bring solutions to the PEM or lead.
  • Familiar with the AP300 or AP1000 project, processes, and procedures.
