About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, coordinating work orders, and providing training and guidance.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and optimal resource utilization.
  • Oversee turnkey operations, including making vacant units rent-ready, performing repairs, and managing quality of maintenance services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, minor electrical repairs, and other maintenance-related tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
  • Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, electrical wiring, or plumbing are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level, with basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle confidential resident information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.
