We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality care to patients in our medical telemetry environment.

Job Summary

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of our Telemetry Unit patients. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.

In this role, you will maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results. You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements
  • Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure is required. If compact license held, active FL RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
