Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Hire Military Talent. As a key member of our industrial services team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment and systems
  • Identify and analyze product failures, and implement repairs and upgrades
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers as requested
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with codes, rules, regulations, and safety standards
  • Document time and materials
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in industrial automation and controls
  • Experience with diagnosis, troubleshooting, upgrades, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with DC and AC drives, controls, PLCs, HMIs, and ability to modify code in the field
  • Ability to read and understand complex schematics, drawings, and electro-mechanical diagrams
  • Dedication to maximum machine performance and consistency of customer product
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred but optional
  • Skilled with commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades
  • Desire to seek systems integration challenges and new technology
  • Innovative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Must maintain high legal, moral, and ethical standards
  • Good communication and team-building skills
  • Self-directed and motivated
