As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a Scoular facility. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees at the location.
  • Directing non-exempt laborers and assisting in the recruitment and training of new staff.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the growth of our business.
  • Collaborating with business managers and merchants to coordinate transportation and maintenance needs, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Maintaining product quality, managing inventories, and overseeing inbound and outbound product flow.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is functional, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Providing exceptional service to our customers and guiding vendors and clients through daily operations.
  • Identifying and contributing to revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Executing operational and merchandising strategies effectively.
  • Driving the Employee Safety agenda and fostering a culture of safety.
  • Participating in safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Supervising and assisting facility staff in their daily activities and scheduling labor to meet operational demands.
  • Engaging and inspiring teams through inclusive leadership practices.
  • Identifying collaboration opportunities across divisions.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of elevator operations and blending processes.
  • A results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of merchandising and safety processes.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in recruitment and additional supervisory roles.
