Job Summary:

The Construction Representative will be responsible for overseeing the daily inspection and documentation of infrastructure projects, including road, bridge, water main, and sewer construction. This role will also involve managing client relationships and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform construction inspection and documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare inspector's daily reports and other project documentation as required.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress and technical issues.
  • Conduct materials testing, including concrete testing and density testing.
  • Write meeting minutes and conduct select project meetings.
  • Assist with client relationships and writing responses to Requests for Proposals.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil or Construction Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of working experience with DOT, preferably in a field project setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and ability to perform services efficiently and within budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
