Job Overview

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Supervisor to assist the site management team by operating and maintaining various machinery while utilizing hand tools to support grading, drainage tasks, and all aspects of earthwork operations, including the loading and staging of materials on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery such as All-Terrain Forklifts, Excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and compactors to assist your supervisor and other site managers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on all equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect machinery and document conditions before each use.
  • Utilize hand tools, including shovels and rakes, to complete assigned tasks.
  • Employ laser levels and site levels for grading and earthwork as required.
  • Support the line crew in excavating ditches and trenches, moving materials, and other related tasks.
  • Follow instructions carefully and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
  • Engage in quality control measures and take responsibility for the results of your work.
  • Commit to continuous learning and skill development.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized job site.
  • Handle confidential company information with discretion.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by site management.

Qualifications for Success

  • Ability to understand site layouts and machinery placements.
