Synerfac is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment, including conveyor systems, Volvo, Morbark grinders, and Doppstadt shredders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of all yellow iron equipment, including conveyor systems, Volvo, Morbark grinders, and Doppstadt shredders
  • Gas and diesel engine work, including transmissions, hydraulics, and electric motors (5-50 hp)
  • Utilizing schematics and service manuals to organize and perform repairs
  • Filling out paperwork using fleet maintenance software programs
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • High-level B or A-level technician heavily preferred
  • Welding experience helpful but not necessary
  • Experience with diagnostic tools
  • Must have own set of mechanic tools
