Job Overview

Noodles & Company is a fast casual restaurant with a mission to nourish and inspire every team member, guest, and community we serve. We're seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join our team in a fun, exciting, and challenging opportunity in restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team with the General Manager to provide an uncommonly good experience for guests, fostering a family-like atmosphere.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including scheduling, expense tracking, labor management, and local restaurant marketing.
  • Identify and foster talent in your team, develop high performers for promotions, recognize a job well-done.
  • Follow operational and inventory control procedures, ensuring food quality, food safety practices, and cleanliness exceed company standards.
  • Work 45 hours per week on a variable schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays.
  • Position may include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 55 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required, as driving may be necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of management and/or leadership experience.
  • Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel management is a plus.
  • Ability to lead a high-performing team, provide an uncommonly good experience for guests, and foster a family-like atmosphere.
  • Conflict resolution skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hire, train, and manage restaurant team members and restaurant shift managers.
