About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the multi-year implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system upgrade across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology vendors, and developers, to identify and document business requirements for the ERP upgrade.
- Analyze complex business processes and facilitate projects and decisions across disparate user groups.
- Work with our Sector teams to assess and analyze business functions and processes, defining, documenting, and articulating current business processes.
- Contribute to backlog grooming and collaborate with analysts, developers, and Product Owners to ensure the backlog is populated with granular stories needed for development.
- Develop and maintain Business Process Design documentation.
- Analyze and design To-Be business processes in partnership with function resources.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Utilize business process and technology expertise to work with Compass Technology and external consultants to implement requirements in the application.
- Establish meeting cadences, structure, and timelines.
- Support Product Managers/Owners with decision-making processes.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion as part of the overall project.
- Post-implementation management of feedback and requirements.
- Develop and execute test scripts and coordinate with other analysts for system integration testing.
- Evaluate system deliverables to ensure they are defect-free and meet departmental quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally in a software development or product enhancement space.
- Experience with SAP, specifically FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, or PCA modules; S/4 HANA experience a plus.
- 1+ years of project experience using the Agile Methodology desired.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Highly developed sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough and highly organized.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships, influence stakeholders, and partner with others to determine acceptable solutions.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a tight deadline-driven environment and adjust to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Willing to travel if needed to engage with Compass Sectors (less than 5%).
