We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai. Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve administrative or operational problems affecting the division
- Maintain division employee files and initiate human resources actions as needed
- Serve as a liaison with other departments or external parties to accomplish objectives and complete projects
- Screen and prioritize incoming mail, respond to routine inquiries, and input information into databases
- Provide support for research studies, including grant applications, progress reports, and final reports
- Prepare and monitor budgets and grant allocations, and assist with regulatory inspections and monitoring visits
- Maintain source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures
We are looking for an individual with an Associate's degree in Secretarial Science or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with two years of related experience. 2-3 years of administrative or medical office experience is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
