About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai. As a key member of our Clinical Trials division, you will provide administrative support services, including regulatory, budget, and grant preparation. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the success of our research studies.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve administrative or operational problems affecting the division
  • Maintain division employee files and initiate human resources actions as needed
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments or external parties to accomplish objectives and complete projects
  • Screen and prioritize incoming mail, respond to routine inquiries, and input information into databases
  • Provide support for research studies, including grant applications, progress reports, and final reports
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and grant allocations, and assist with regulatory inspections and monitoring visits
  • Maintain source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures
Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with an Associate's degree in Secretarial Science or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with two years of related experience. 2-3 years of administrative or medical office experience is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
