Web Operations Manager

The Web Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the UF Health website. This includes applying a broad understanding of internet technologies, programming languages, and database management. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to solve problems and work independently. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the website's infrastructure, including server-related functions and IIS.

• Develop and maintain back-end databases, including SQL Server and Access.

• Ensure the website's functionality, including HTML, DreamWeaver, and FrontPage.

• Supervise a team of 4 employees, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mass Communications.

• 3-5 years of experience in comprehensive internet website development and management.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Visual Basic, Active Server Page, and Visual Interdev.

• Experience with graphic design tools, including Adobe PhotoShop and Macromedia Fireworks.

• Familiarity with multimedia tools, including RealPlayer and Flash/Shockwave.

• Experience with e-commerce shopping carts and online payment systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
