About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at IKO North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the plant maintenance program, ensuring it is aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead and motivate maintenance technicians to achieve safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance outcomes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
  • Manage and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.
  • Plan and direct the maintenance of all plant equipment to minimize costs and maximize reliability.
  • Monitor and control the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related technical field (Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in a roofing web handling or similar continuous manufacturing operation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct assessments, audits, and evaluations to measure progress.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive results through others.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to teamwork and integrity.
