As an HR Business Partner at Beef Northwest Feeders, you will be instrumental in aligning human resources strategies with business goals and delivering strategic HR support throughout the organization. This role encompasses traditional HR responsibilities while also acting as a trusted advisor to senior management, contributing to the development and execution of HR initiatives that promote organizational effectiveness. The position will involve a focus on HR business partnering (60%) and talent acquisition (40%).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to comprehend business objectives and formulate HR strategies that facilitate organizational growth and performance.
  • Identify HR trends, challenges, and opportunities proactively, proposing solutions to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Lead initiatives concerning talent management, succession planning, workforce development, and organizational enhancement.

Employee Relations and Performance Management:

  • Offer guidance and coaching to managers and employees regarding performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Work alongside managers to tackle performance issues, create performance improvement plans, and cultivate a culture of continuous feedback and development.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on HR-related subjects to boost managerial skills and foster a positive workplace environment.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Partner with hiring managers to ascertain talent requirements and devise effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to create and implement training and development programs that align with organizational objectives and employee career trajectories.
  • Support employee career development initiatives, including career planning, coaching, and mentoring programs.

Compensation and Benefits Administration:

  • Work with Finance to perform salary benchmarking and establish compensation structures that attract and retain talent.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, modifications, and inquiries, ensuring effective communication with employees regarding their compensation and benefits packages.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HRIS systems and data analytics to monitor key HR metrics and generate reports that provide insights into workforce trends, employee engagement, and performance.
  • Analyze data to pinpoint areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance HR programs and processes.
  • Prepare and present HR metrics and dashboards to senior leadership to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to address HR-related risks and develop policies and procedures to mitigate compliance-related issues.
  • Assist with audits and investigations concerning HR compliance matters, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR roles, emphasizing strategic HR business partnering.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, including ATS and Paylocity or similar.
  • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives and actions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from conception to implementation.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
