Role Summary:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to enhance our Consumer Operations Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will guide the development and execution of innovative technological solutions that improve our consumer operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead scrum teams in adhering to Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring effective prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
  • Facilitate the scrum process for projects of moderate complexity, ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies for teams, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Educate stakeholders on Agile best practices, particularly assisting Product Owners with backlog management.
  • Create a trusting and secure environment where team members can openly discuss and resolve issues.
  • Act as a change agent to enhance team productivity and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Analyze scrum team metrics to identify areas for improvement and elevate team performance.
  • Deliver capabilities using Agile practices while adhering to the Software Development Lifecycle and corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance with governance policies.
  • Work closely with product owners and project managers to communicate team deliverables and escalate any risks or issues affecting team effectiveness.
  • Engage with peers and managers to resolve challenges and achieve objectives.
  • Receive guidance from leadership while exercising independent judgment to understand policies and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing Agile Scrum Master or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
  • Experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
  • Proficiency in managing JIRA boards and dashboards, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in end-to-end project execution for a minimum of 4 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM or PSM).
  • 4+ years of experience in Agile methodologies, including both Scrum and Kanban.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile coaching.
  • Experience in forming Agile teams from inception.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and conflict to drive outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication and servant leadership skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector.
