We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our Food and Beverage team at Hotel Hartness / Patterson Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless experience for events and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down events according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and floor plan outlines, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware.
  • Service Delivery: Provide exceptional service to guests during events, including serving food and beverages, attending to their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Beverage Service: Offer bottled wine service to tables according to our standards and ensure that all beverages are served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Hors d'oeuvres Service: Tend to stationary hors d'oeuvres or perform passed hors d'oeuvre service to guests, ensuring that all food and beverages are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Client Contact: Act as a client contact when assigned, providing exceptional service and ensuring that all their needs are met.
  • Meeting Room Clearing: Clear the meeting room, including stationary in-room trays and covered carts, and sort and assist the culinary team with breaking down and addressing excess banquet food.
  • Buffet Runner: Act as a buffet runner, effectively communicating with the culinary staff when additional food items are needed in the event space.
  • Equipment and Supply Management: Maintain proper storage of banquet décor, tools, linens, and equipment, ensuring that all items are clean, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Pre-Event, Side Work, and Post-Event Tasks: Complete designated pre-event, side work, and post-event tasks efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
