Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our Clinical Lab and Pathology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages in a timely and efficient manner. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring accurate laboratory testing and diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples via the appropriate location and method from patients of all ages.
  • Perform limited bedside testing as required.
  • Explain collection procedures and provide general testing information to patients to facilitate understanding and reduce anxiety.
  • Calm and reassure anxious or apprehensive patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous phlebotomy or training experience preferred.
