Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI studies according to established protocols and guidelines
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and examination results
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of MRI work experience within the last three years
  • Current MRI Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington)
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Science or related field
  • Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and adaptability to changing situations
