Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at the University of Utah Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct MRI scans according to established protocols and parameters

Troubleshoot MRI systems and adapt to different environments

Provide direct patient care and administer medications within scope of practice

Archive patient exams and maintain accurate records

Requirements

Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential

One of the following: ARRT Registration as Magnetic Resonance Imaging R.T. (MR) or MRI Technologist Certification from the American Registry for Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

Three years of technical experience (preferred)

Working Conditions

This position involves intensive work that may exert up to 100 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects, such as medical equipment, or patients while providing medical care.
