About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer at the Tennessee State Government.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce all city and state codes, ordinances, laws, and regulations to maintain public safety and order.
  • Maintain visibility by patrolling assigned areas, city streets, parks, neighborhoods, and businesses to ensure security and prevent crime.
  • Perform surveillance of various locations and of criminal suspects to gather intelligence and prevent potential threats.
  • Respond to calls for service and investigate reported crimes, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
