Job Summary:

The Traffic Enforcement Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of Nashville International Airport passengers, visitors, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct vehicular traffic on terminal levels and ensure pedestrian and property safety
  • Issue parking tickets in accordance with statutes and ordinances
  • Monitor terminal exit lanes for safety and prevent unauthorized entry
  • Report medical issues to relevant parties
  • Assist with medical emergencies by clearing space for first responders and notifying dispatch
  • Check for unattended bags and notify dispatch
  • Operate a two-way radio for traffic, lost and found, and flight information
  • Provide passenger assistance, including answering questions and giving directions
  • Assist with vehicle problems, such as battery recharges and key retrieval
  • Support Nashville International Airport's commitment to its culture and values
  • Maintain regular and on-time attendance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous law enforcement experience
  • First aid and CPR certification
