Diesel Mechanic Technician

Job Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. You will work under the supervision of a senior mechanic and follow established safety procedures to ensure the highest level of work quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems
- Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and projects
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and perform inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in diesel mechanics a plus
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range
