Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The CKHobbie Group. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks supporting production, including diagnosing problems, modifying, repairing, and calibrating high-speed packaging machinery and process equipment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks to support production, including diagnosing problems, modifying, repairing, and calibrating high-speed packaging machinery and process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, changeover, and improve the operation of both new and existing packaging and process equipment using PMs, SOPs, and equipment manuals.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and routine repairs.
  • Adhere to lockout/tagout safety procedures.
  • Perform work safely.
  • Execute predictive maintenance tasks to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Accurately document work as required to comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Undertake other assigned duties.

Requirements:
  • Must pass general basic maintenance mechanic written exams and respective specialty tests.
  • Must pass practical evaluations.
  • Ability to operate high lift and aerial lift; must obtain a forklift license.

Specializations:
  • Electrician: Strong industrial electrical skills; able to read and work from electrical schematics.
  • PLC: Proficiency with Allen Bradley: troubleshoot online with RSLogix for PLC5, SLC500, and Logix 5000.
  • Packaging Machinery: Strong mechanical skills; familiarity with various packaging equipment types.
  • Machinist: Ability to repair and rebuild equipment and manufacture parts and components as needed.

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Salary Range: $50,000 - $85,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
