ROLE SUMMARY
This role is focused on enhancing the customer experience through superior service standards. The Retail Operations Manager will supervise the entire showroom and reception team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and overseeing daily operational needs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the General Manager in strategizing and executing plans to enhance service standards and achieve positive sales outcomes.
- Manage department scheduling in accordance with business requirements.
- Foster an exceptional customer experience by leading and mentoring teams to adhere to company service standards.
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to provide coaching, training, and development for the showroom team, focusing on service standards and accountability.
- Monitor interactions between staff and customers to ensure appropriate communication is maintained.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and escalations effectively.
- Manage customer queues to ensure timely service and communicate updates to the team.
- Maintain knowledge of loss prevention strategies and protocols.
- Uphold strict confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with other operational areas as necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: Associate degree or higher.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Prior experience in cash handling is required.
- Management experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Highly motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to train and evaluate a team of patient consultants.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to move throughout the work environment and interact effectively with various individuals, including those who may be ill or emotionally distressed. Physical capabilities include lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds and navigating confined spaces.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing job duties, the employee is:
- Required to move throughout the facility and communicate sensitive information.
- Frequently required to handle objects of varying sizes and weights.
- Occasionally required to remain seated.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Expect to work 45+ hours weekly with flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
