Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve internal and external theft incidents, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and associates.
- Monitor and analyze shrink reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions to reduce losses.
- Collaborate with the Asset Protection team and store management to identify and address safety and security issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular store visits to identify deficiencies and execute corrective actions, maintaining awareness of high-risk areas to reduce merchandise losses.
- Review and implement shrink reduction strategies, ensuring effective execution of best practices and protocols.
- Assist with preparation for National Inventory (NP) counts and attend audits to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Initiate service calls for locksmiths, keys, and cores, alarms, and CCTV as needed.
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to state and local jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information.
