Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team at Tamarack Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily tasks and responsibilities of room attendants and house attendants in their assigned housekeeping areas throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Serve as a point of contact when the Manager and/or Supervisor is not available, and assist teams with all cleaning duties, per their assigned team.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Ensure units are ready for inspection, assist with inspections as needed, and follow housekeeping standards set forth.
  • Guest Experience: Provide Tamarack Homes guests a lodging unit that is clean, sanitary, and welcoming, and work with business/department leadership and team members to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department.
  • Housekeeping Standards: Maintain Tamarack Resort standard of quality and cleanliness in all units assigned, and ensure that all equipment used in the cleaning process are safe and well maintained, working properly and operating at optimum levels.
  • Communication: Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, security, and front desk, and communicate with management to ensure proper planning so that all employees are assigned duties, in a fair and just manner.
Requirements
  • Professional Presentation: Must possess a professional presentation.
  • Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Responsibility and Reliability: Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes in work environment, and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30lbs, stand or sit for long periods of time, and work in confined spaces and fluctuating temperatures.
