Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist Lead will oversee the day-to-day administration of human resources functions, record keeping, and special projects for a distribution center with approximately 50 associates. Ensuring compliance with GSF, federal, and state labor policies and procedures is a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides information and counseling to employees on various HR topics, including benefits, company policies, payroll, and safety protocols.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential personnel files, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Develops and disseminates HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
  • Guides managers and supervisors on implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Recruits and selects hourly and salaried employees through job advertisements, application screening, testing, and interviewing.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary.
Leadership/Management Responsibility:

An active participant on the facility's management team, handling higher-level HR issues when the HR Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field from an accredited college or university. PHR and/or SPHR certification may be considered in lieu of a degree, along with demonstrated years of experience.

3-6 years of work experience in general human resources.

Salary Estimate:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
