About the Role
- Perform comprehensive assessments and crisis interventions, including de-escalation and crisis planning.
- Effectively communicate clients' needs and make internal agency or community referrals.
- Serve as a liaison for collaboration with families, friends, and local partners.
- Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and our services.
- Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field of study and at least one year of professional experience.
- Current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW, LCPC) or eligibility to become licensed.
- Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
