Key Responsibilities

The Taproom Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the daily activities within the taproom. This position focuses on inspiring and guiding front-of-house staff while ensuring that patrons enjoy memorable experiences.

Core Duties:

  • Engage with customers to promote offerings, address inquiries, and implement service recovery when necessary.
  • Facilitate the training and development of front-of-house personnel.
  • Lead and support team members during shifts, providing direction as required.
  • Maintain a welcoming and tidy environment in all guest-facing areas, including the patio and taproom.
  • Offer constructive feedback to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure timely setup of the café and taproom during morning shifts, and oversee the completion of closing tasks.
  • Assist the Taproom Manager with operational responsibilities, including cash handling, inventory management, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication through various channels, including email and team messaging platforms.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Flexible availability, including weekday evenings and weekends.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to utilize resources effectively and make sound decisions during shifts.
  • Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and reach.
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.
