Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining and processing student discounts, waivers, graduate assistantships, grants, corporate partner discounts, and departmental scholarships. This includes verifying eligibility, reconciling accounts, applying transactions, scanning documents for audit support, and managing the Finance Upload (FUPLOAD) process in Banner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify student eligibility for discounts, waivers, and other financial aid programs
  • Reconcile student accounts and apply transactions in a timely manner
  • Manage the FUPLOAD process in Banner to ensure accurate and efficient financial data processing
  • Provide daily customer service to students, staff, and faculty regarding student accounts
  • Analyze student accounts for activity and accuracy, and assist students with information about payments, refunds, and 1098-T tax forms
  • Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Associate or higher degree in bookkeeping, business, or a related field
  • Two (2) years experience in accounting/bookkeeping and/or reconciliation tasks
  • Prior experience in a higher education business/accounting office or similar related experience preferred
