About the Role

Vitalant is seeking a dedicated Hospital Distribution Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of blood and blood products to local hospitals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP, and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.

Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicles.

Communicate with customers regarding order fulfillment, turnaround times, and product availability.

Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.

Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment, and vehicle work areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid in-state driver's license.

Six months of customer service experience required.

Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.

Able to lift 40lbs.
