LPN - Patient Care Specialist

At Eateam, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care according to each patient's needs. This includes interviewing patients, recording their medical history and physical condition, and obtaining vital signs. You will also provide routine care for patients, observe their health, and review medical charts. Additionally, you will assist physicians and registered nurses, communicate with patients and their families, and perform standard diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage patient care according to each patient's needs
- Interview patients and record their medical history and physical condition
- Obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
- Provide routine care for patients
- Observe patients' health
- Review medical charts
- Accompany patients to their rooms
- Assist physicians and registered nurses
- Communicate with patients and their families
- Perform standard diagnostic procedures, including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler
- Prepare specimens for lab courier
- Administer medications
- Provide wound care
- Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
- Assist with patient comfort
- Monitor catheters
