Benesch is seeking a highly skilled Structural Bridge Project Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our Structural Group, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, interfacing with clients, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level engineers to help them grow in their careers.
- Project Management: Serve as the Engineer-of-Record for structural elements of projects, perform quality control checks, and understand project requirements to facilitate coordination with clients and between disciplines.
- Client Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, and represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits to drive business growth.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering, Master's degree in Structural Engineering a plus.
- Licensure: Texas PE or SE License required or ability to obtain.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant bridge design experience, experience with DOT projects and standards a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proven experience working with the DOT and local agencies.
