Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to enhance our established Breast Surgery Group. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of Breast Surgeons and Breast Imaging specialists within a thriving practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including gathering detailed medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
- Execute various medical procedures under the guidance of supervising physicians.
- Carry out advanced surgical interventions in accordance with your credentialing.
- Support physicians in the hospital setting by conducting patient rounds, documenting progress notes, and preparing discharge summaries.
- Respond independently to critical emergency situations with evaluative and treatment procedures.
- Coordinate patient referrals to suitable community health care facilities and resources.
- Prescribe medications under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the ongoing delivery of medical care by reviewing and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
