Job Summary: SSM Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of surgical patients
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Conduct thorough medical histories and perform physical examinations to identify and address patient needs
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
* Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
* Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and health promotion

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Nursing or related field
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
* Experience in surgical nursing and/or nurse practitioner role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
