Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Level II MT/PT Technician to join our team at TEAM, Inc. in Los Angeles. As a key member of our Nondestructive Testing (NDT) team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, interpreting results, and reporting findings in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct NDT inspections using various techniques, including magnetic particle testing (MT) and penetrant testing (PT)
  • Interpret inspection results and report findings to customers and management
  • Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless inspection and testing operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in NDT technology
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT field as a certified technician in at least 2 methods
  • Previous certification to Level II in a minimum of one method (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET) preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

This position is based out of our Los Angeles branch and requires frequent travel to various job sites. You will be working in a plant atmosphere, interacting with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel. You must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department and tolerate climate changes.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
  • Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
