Overview

Practice Manager of Operations

Dental Arts of Oliver Springs is seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager of Operations to support our team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to support the practice's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Doctor to prioritize and achieve top 10 business goals and 16 personal development goals.
  • Lead and support the team in achieving their goals and objectives through servant leadership.
  • Participate in Bell Leadership Training and other professional development opportunities.
  • Support the Doctor in achieving their Top 10 Professional goals through daily one-on-ones, morning huddles, and weekly touch points.
  • Develop and implement quarterly and annual financial goals in collaboration with the Doctor.
  • Help the Doctor prioritize, plan, and block schedule for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs.
  • Monitor progress and identify areas for improvement in DMP.
  • Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates that are an 80% match for both the position and the practice.
  • Partner with the Doctor to identify skills needed for open positions and select the right team members.
  • Successfully onboard new team members through partnerships with recruiting and support office.
  • Support team members in prioritizing and planning their training through Core Essentials and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics.

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
