Primary Care Physician in Family Medicine

The Essentia Health Primary Care Physician serves as a pivotal member of a dedicated Care Team. By leveraging Essentia Care Processes, the physician collaborates closely with fellow healthcare professionals to meet patient care goals and ensure seamless continuity of care for both patients and their families.
PRACTICE SPECIFICS- Join a cohesive team comprising 4 family practice physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), and supportive staff with minimal turnover.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient patient management.
- Access to 24/7 Nurse Triage services.
- Work within a clinic that includes 9 providers, covering family medicine, adult, and pediatric behavioral health.
- Benefit from state-of-the-art facilities including PACS radiology, ultrasound, mammography, and a high-complexity in-house laboratory.
- Engage in various procedures if desired, such as colposcopy, endoscopy, minor office procedures, stress testing, suturing, casting, and prenatal care (without delivery).
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- No obstetrics required.
- Situated approximately 160 miles north of Duluth, MN.
- Located near the Rainy River.
- Close to Rainy Lake, which serves as the Gateway to Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota's only water-based national park.
- Serves a community with a population of around 10,000.
