Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer - Overnight to join our team at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and hotel property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the hotel and property to identify and mitigate potential safety risks and security threats.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property.
  • Security Operations: Monitor security cameras, operate the fire alarm panel, and initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
  • Key Control: Effectively distribute keys in accordance with key control policy and conduct daily audits.
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest inquiries and requests, and resolve guest issues in a timely and friendly manner.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, team members, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting of up to 25 pounds.
