Our Pediatric Unit

The Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper University Hospital is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility, providing care for patients aged 0 to 18 years. Our unit is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals. We offer subspecialty services in areas such as endocrinology, genetics, infectious diseases, and more.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team. As a critical care assistant, you'll work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, communicating with the healthcare team, and maintaining patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain patient safety and confidentiality
  • Perform technical duties as directed by the RN, such as phlebotomy and vital signs
  • Participate in patient education and family support
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification
  • Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program
Work Schedule

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a schedule of 7pm-7am, nights only.
