Position Overview
We are looking for skilled individuals to join our team as a Land Surveying Technician. In this role, you will be based in our Rock Hill, NC office and will engage in various surveying tasks that support civil engineering, architectural, and environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As a Land Surveying Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting the survey crew leader in executing field survey assignments.
  • Adhering to established safety protocols in land surveying practices.
  • Utilizing advanced surveying equipment such as GPS, Robotic Total Stations, digital and differential levels, UAVs, and high-definition scanners.
  • Clearing vegetation, marking locations, documenting observations, and creating sketches.
  • Processing collected data and generating maps and other deliverables using software like Acad Civil 3D, Carlson, and others.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in surveying.
  • Proficiency in GPS and Robotic Total Stations, as well as data collection and drafting technologies.
  • Familiarity with software such as ACAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, and Inroads is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • A valid Driver's License.
